Emotional Intelligence

(One-hour session/two-hour session includes role-playing exercises)

 Making regular deposits to the “emotional bank accounts” of your employees is nearly as crucial as the financial deposits we make; particularly when, as a leader, you find yourself needing to make a withdrawal. In this session, participants will develop an understanding of the five components of emotional intelligence, and they will have an opportunity to not only learn how to monitor the level of their own emotions, but how to gage and appropriately manage the emotions of those around them. In the role-playing portion of this session, participants will encounter those sets of “hot buttons,” we all have, and will be afforded an opportunity to use their newly-learned skills to diffuse the tension and minimize the stress that is often associated with mismanaged emotions.
