Inmate Manipulation

Inmate Manipulation:  4 hours. This program draws on most recent statistics on staff misconduct obtained through the Office of Inspector General. Characteristics of an inmate population  (personality disorders, antisocial personality disorder) are discussed followed by the 14 steps that help set up a staff member for manipulation.  Special emphasis is placed on ways of maintaining proper balance between working with inmates and not being victimized by them. Lastly, steps staff need to implement if they think they are being lured into an inmate’s ploy, will be discussed.
