Death Reviews

With 15 years of experience in conducting detainee death reviews, Creative Corrections is available immediately to provide highly qualified Subject Matter Experts to our customers.

Our death reviews are a focused, fact-finding, and objective endeavor with no subject or target of investigation, only a topic — a Detainee death. The review is an investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the death and is conducted to ascertain all the facts associated with the death. We look for the traditional who, what, where, when, and why with no preconceived notions or assumptions with regards to liability. Our review process does not determine cause of death, but ascertains whether the policies, procedures, and practices were followed.

The journey to achieve ISO 17020-2012 accreditation was both challenging and rigorous, involving meticulous effort from the entire team. “Obtaining this accreditation was not easy; it required a solid commitment to quality and professional excellence,” said Percy Pitzer, Founding Manager. “We are immensely proud to potentially be the only private company in the U.S. to hold this accreditation, reinforcing our role as a trailblazer in the industry.”
